Dragon beard candy have seen it so many times but never got a chance to try it out. Manage to buy one to try it out myself, after so many years of anticipation (yes, you read me right). But was kind of disappointed with how it tasted. Kind of didn't quite match what I have in mind, in the end, I ate like 3 and bf had 1, the rest of the 4 we threw it away. Mind you, one box of eight costs MYR12, don't think that's a cheap price to pay. But I guess at least I have kill the fantasy of wanting to eat this again, perhaps next time I should just stick to watching the making of it as entertainment.

I got a chance to attend a HK artiste album promotion event, William So. This time he is in Malaysia to promote his song “那谁” under the invitation from Overtime I suppose, since all his activities are happening at Overtime venue.
I have heard of his songs many times, especially during my college days. I won't call myself his fans but only listen to selected few songs that I really like and will play it continuously on my player
One of the songs that I have better memories is 男人不该让女人流泪. I remember this song was played on my housemates player repeatedly and that is how I started to listen to his songs.
Not sure why but seems to me most of his better known songs always bring a sense of sadness.Maybe he has been through a lot in his life and this is why he can aptly express those feelings into his songs. Hopefully his next new songs will be something different, something light and happy perhaps.
I manage to record a snippet of the event that night with my trusty little iPhone. Though not too clear but better than nothing.
Going into my 5th month now, it's still a mix feeling of regret and anticipation. Putting on braces can really help one to lose weight, no joke. The pain that comes with the tension from the braces on your teeth really makes you lose your appetite and in the end, you're only interested to drink rather than eat. You don't want to do anymore chewing with your teeth. The moment you put something solid in your mouth, you're constantly reminded of the pain and that makes you lose it all.
When I started wearing my braces, I only manage to install the upper bracket because I need to wait to do 2 surgery extraction to remove 2 teeth and each surgery requires me to rest at least 2 weeks before I can do anything. Now, I already have my lower bracket installed on the 4th month. Due to the severity of my condition, the lower teeth is taking a long time to straighten as oppose to the upper row which took only 2 weeks to get it straighten. Right now 3 of my teeth are not clip to the wire because it will cause a lot of pain for me if they did it forcefully, not that it isn't now. Though it may be so, I still can't help looking into the mirror every morning, hoping for some miracle to happen, like my teeth started to space out so that other teeth can fit in nicely. But last week I asked the dentist how long it will take for the teeth to straighten, he answered me with a smiley face, another 8 - 9 months. Can you imagine how my heart sank at that time, sigh sounds to me this is going to be a long journey.
I also read on forums one of the things not to extend your life with braces is ensure that you're always on time for your appointment. My doctor recommends that I go back every month, partly also to pay my instalment, for my checkup. I've already changed my wire 3 times, each time giving me a different tension and pain. Constantly reminding me of my decision I made 5 months ago, until today I still ask myself if I'm doing the right thing to go through all this pain.
One of the questions I constantly ask my dentist will I lose all my teeth at the end of the treatment, my dentist will laugh at me and tell me no. But how can I not feel that way? Every time they change wire and try to clip it to my teeth, I always end up shouting for help inside my heart. The discomfort that is brought on when they change wire, is hard to not to understand why you will lose all your teeth at the end of the treatment, although thank god, I haven't.
This is the latest condition of my teeth, hopefully the next update I will be able to post a straightened teeth already.
I got interested when I started noticing people using Viddy. The curious me can't allow myself to be behind trend, so googled it and sign up for an account. Interestingly this is something like twitter or instagram, except you post your thoughts on twitter and pictures on instagram, but on Viddy you post video.
So this is my first and foremost video on Viddy, a snippet of my newphew's non-stop laughter that lasted for more than a minute but I can only post 15 seconds of it due to the limitation set by Viddy.
Just finish watching a Taiwanese drama, Material Queen (拜金女王）. I feel they have invested alot of money on this show, from the shooting location to costume. The opening of the show was with great pomp and opulence. The dizzying effect of Paris, lavishing branded hangbags, glittering diamonds and endless bubbles, are all the envy of most women, if not all. But once you take away all this facade, you are left with a weak or less than convincing act.
Though it may be so, I still ended up watching the entire series because I wanted to know how the story develops itself. There are a few characters in this show that attracts my attention, Peter and Li Hai. Li Hai is because of his suaveness and Peter for his character in this show, one who never leaves a friend no matter in what situation. Peter's role in this show reminds me of a Chinese saying, "飞关风月，之为真心".
Another reason for watching this show is because I'm attracted to the costumes wore in this show. For this show I know they have invited the coveted Patricia Field, who is also the costume designer for Sex and the City. I have always love all the clothes designed by her. Even though with her advance in age she has never fail to amazed me with all her fashionable and beautiful designs. I can only wish that one day I can wear one of her designs but that is perhaps something that is very far to reach.
I know I should have done it long ago but I guess the price tag was a little hefty. Plus no one around me was using it at the time. Other than reading the raving review from online it's a bit hard to understand the benefit of this tool to provide me with a clearer skin. Making the decision to purchase this product, even though with thorough reading, was also due to impulsive purchase.
Some time ago, I bought a new cleansing tool and included it into my beauty regime. Looking back now, I have not regretted making this purchase, in fact I have been asking myself why didn't I buy it sooner? Finally after many months, 2 years to be exact, I finally plucked the courage and plunge into buying myself a Clarisonic Plus Sonic Skin Cleansing System. Since then I have not look back or regret making this purchase and that was about 5 months ago. I get lots of compliments from my friends for they have seen visible results.
The usual daily cleaning is not enough to slough off the dead skin cell from our face. To me, even the weekly face scrub is not good enough because I can't bear to pull and tug my skin without risking adding more wrinkle to my face.But on the other hand if you don't properly clean your skin, how are those serum and essence going to penetrate deep into your skin to nourish and repair, right? Imagine this, when you water or fertilised your plant, you should always get rid of those weeds, so that your plant will get the necessary nourishment and not wasted to nourished the weeds. Also, I feel that my skin, after removing makeup, is alot cleaner than before I started using the brush.
I bought mine from Sephora, KL. If I'm not mistaken that is the only place that is selling this tool in Malaysia but if you have friends who are traveling from US, it might be worthwhile to ask them to help you buy it there because it's cheaper but you may need to check on the plug, whether it's compatible with where you're using it.
For the cleanser, I'm using my regular cleanser. There is no need to purchase a dedicated cleanser just to use this brush but bear in mind that just like a regular toothbrush, you will have to change the brush head every 3 months. Some people may use this twice a day but to me, once a day is sufficient and I only use it at night before I go to bed, it's more important to have a clean skin at night.
For drying this brush, I try to avoid leaving it in the bathroom due to the humidity but will take it out and leave it to air dry. After all you're using it on your face and you will want to take all the necessary steps to prevent getting breakouts.
Since using this brush, I have at least 4 friends that got influenced by me and bought this brush. They also thanked me for introducing this raving product to them because of the amazing result they achieved.
