This trip to Taiwan, one of the things that I'm going to get for myself is the famed Banane Taipei tote bag. Although it has been in trend since last year but the style has not died. In fact recently one of my favourite bloggers Chiara Ferragni has mentioned this bag in her recent post. This just makes me more determine to get my hand on one of them.

It all started when a celebrity in Taiwan, Dee Hsu, was photographed by the paparazzi carrying the orange version of this bag. Later on the trend was heightened when Barbie Hsu customised the bags and turn it as part of her wedding gift. Subsequently a lot of celebrities were also seen carrying these bags.

Just by looking at these bags through the pictures, I'm already getting light-headed. Somehow I have this feeling I will fall for all the colours and purchase more than I can handle. Right now the colours that I fancy are Midnight Magenta, Lake Blue and Banane Yellow. My pandemonium is swinging towards bright colours but who knows what I might end up getting for myself when I'm physically at the shop itself, right?
I also noticed on the Internet they have new model, baby banane taipei bags, it's more expensive as they have more metal embellishments and an extra long handle to carry on the shoulder. I have put the bag measurements in the album below, so you guys can check it out but it's not for sale online. So one can only get it if you are there physically, I think. Anyway I guess I can verify it when I'm there myself next week.
