a long overdue meetup

Back in my college days, I used to stay with a bunch of friends. We rented a house and basically went through thick and thin for the remaining days of our college life. It was pretty fun with lots of dramas, be it good or bad but looking back at it now, it's all part and parcel of life. I'm glad that part of my life is made up of dramas like these where I can recall and reminisce but when going through it, I definitely didn't appreciate every part of it (LOL!).

Tonight I went to one of my ex-housemate's, Carmen, housewarming. Her house is definitely huge, imagine a 3-storey house consisting of a lift. I don't think I have any friend with that kind of house so it's an eye-opener for me.

This is definitely a way overdue meetup. It's been 5 years already since we last met and she is now a mummy of 2 adorable kids. Can you also spot my new hairstyle?
Our only group picture together. Hopefully we can meet up more often than this.
After the party Ron and myself headed for a short drink at Acme Bar & Coffee. It's becoming our fav hangout these days. Coupled with nice seats and heartwarming drinks for the night.
This hangout has very nice coasters. I really love looking at it each time I'm here.
These are not desserts.
So that was my Saturday, how was yours? Wish you all a good weekend!

where the sky is blue and not a single cloud in sight (part 1)

Last month took some time off to spend a nice weekend with each other in Bali. This time since it's a very short trip, we have decided to just spend all our time within the resorts in Nusa Dua rather than traveling in and out. We spent most of our time trying out the different spa menu in the area.

I was asleep when one of the attendant asked me if I would like to join them for brunch. Of course I will welcome brunch, I will never miss my dinner roll and croissant on plane. Nice, they gave Godiva chocolate on plane too.

For the first time in my life, I ordered champagne with Ron but I didn't finish it because I still want to stay alert throughout my flight and also the fact that I am also a terrible drinker don't help.

Ron's meal as usual, always fuller than my table.

This Skecher shoe is officially my traveling shoe, I like that it's comfortable to wear and has heels. Most of my shoes with heels is not travel friendly shoes.

All over this resort, there is no short of well trimmed garden. As our club room is quite far, so we have to walk quite a fair bit to get there. Even their check-in lobby for club room is different. Over there you have food and drinks readily available for you, anytime.

Right outside our balcony, we have this lake view. Once awhile you will see a family of duck swimming past you. It's quite an interesting things to look at when you have nothing to do but just chilling on the balcony.

Next posting, I will post some photos of the spa that we have been to.
