rejuvenating weekend

Life is not always a bed of roses but I constantly remind myself to appreciate the finer things in life. Sometimes I will get too caught up with my own situations that I always forget how lucky I am, good thing I have a very understanding partner to remind me.

Once awhile we should allow ourselves to enjoy some finer moments, to do something we love, to do something we truly enjoy. One should never feel bad about indulging into something you like, especially if you earn it. Our life is too short to be fussing over the world everyday.

Sometimes a chat with your love ones over coffee or a pot of tea not only bring the relationship closer but also remind us that in this world we do have someone that truly still cares for us. Fallback and let loose, allowing your mind and soul to experience the decadence of life to rejuvenate your body.

wearable sunscreen

From where I live, the summer has never left us once. Since I start learning to fuss over my skin, I never leave the house without covering my face with sunscreen but applying sunblock on my body can get a bit unbearable when it becomes sticky. This piece of clothing that comes with a UPF50 is something worth considering.

I was very thrilled when I first saw this cardigan in my local Uniqlo store. I instantly bought myself a pink piece and top up with another top that also claims to cut away UV. The material is actually very lightweight and doesn't get too hot or stuffy even if you wear it under the sun. In fact it has become a staple wear for me every time I go out, I will just wear it on top of whatever things I am wearing and just like the way it's advertised, it's a wearable sunscreen.

Another feature of this cardigan, a hole so that you can slip your thumb through to hold the sleeve in place. Not a unique feature but it's a brownie point to own a piece of this.

blazing blue

I spotted this look on Blake Lively from GG. It's one of those looks that I fell in love with but wonder how many of us out there that can pull this look wearing a metallic blazer and dine in an alfresco cafe? But it's so high style, high fashion ain't it?!
