shopping gone wild

Not too long ago, Crabtree and Evelyn had a member's sale at all their outlet. All items were on sale, if you're a non-member you get a 20% off and if you're a member you get a 30% discount. Initially when I learn about it I brush it aside, thinking that it's just another sale, like everything else. Then when I walked into one of their outlets, I immediately fell for their Hello Kitty bag. I started to spread the news around to my friends and helped them into buying some and I end up with all these bags.

Some of the Hello Kitty bags.

Summer Hill

Citron

Nantucket Briar

Iris

La Source

Lavender

Gardener

Rosewater

This is how it looks like inside. The mesh bag in the middle can be detach from the bag if you don't need to use it. Each bag comes with 2 regular size products, depending on which range you choose. The products are normally shower gel, body lotion, hand lotion or scrub.

You can choose from 8 different designs but Iris is my favourite so far. Each of this bag is retailing at MYR110 but if you're a member you can own one by paying MYR97 during the sale. You can still own yourself one of these bags as they are still having sale for member but only at 15%. Which of these is your favourite?

tassel is in!

My latest addition in my family of bags from Dorothy Perkins. I'm beginning to like things with tassel on it. Some detailing on my bags, make it more interesting than having nothing at all. I just window shopped at Zara and now am contemplating whether I should bag that red carry all bag!

Ah, life's complex decision!

crazy over earrings

One of the problems with staying at too many places is you can't keep track of things you own. Hence, after awhile I always misplace my accessories then start buying and piling only to realized my long lost accessories are hidden in one of the many little storage I have which I had initially wanted to keep it nicely.

So enough about my scatter brain moments, last week I bought myself several new earrings. Some of them I have already started wearing them. When I wear something simple, I always like to pair it with earrings that stand out and vice versa.

wearable sunscreen

From where I live, the summer has never left us once. Since I start learning to fuss over my skin, I never leave the house without covering my face with sunscreen but applying sunblock on my body can get a bit unbearable when it becomes sticky. This piece of clothing that comes with a UPF50 is something worth considering.

I was very thrilled when I first saw this cardigan in my local Uniqlo store. I instantly bought myself a pink piece and top up with another top that also claims to cut away UV. The material is actually very lightweight and doesn't get too hot or stuffy even if you wear it under the sun. In fact it has become a staple wear for me every time I go out, I will just wear it on top of whatever things I am wearing and just like the way it's advertised, it's a wearable sunscreen.

Another feature of this cardigan, a hole so that you can slip your thumb through to hold the sleeve in place. Not a unique feature but it's a brownie point to own a piece of this.
